SODA SPRINGS-

Boreal Ski Resort was packed with skiers and snowboarders Thursday morning.

“All the powder. All of the fresh snow that we just got overnight,” boarder Tyler Newberry said.

Staff at the resort says that powder hasn’t stopped falling for several days.

“About a week ago we received 20 inches of snow and since then it has been snowing every night,” Boreal spokesperson Tess Hobbs said.

Visitors and staff say the change from last season is more than welcome.

“With the drought and everything last year, how it was, if there was snow, then it wasn’t very good,” boarder Kyle Twisselman said.
