Even in cold, rainy weather, the line to see a home in Midlothian, Virgina is wrapped around the block. The extravagant holiday display won the USA Today’s National Tacky Lights Competition.
“We love crazy! This is excellent,” Marnie Crane told WTVR about stopping by the home.
While neighbors say they are happy for the home’s recognition and the family’s efforts, they are a little sick and tired of the traffic.
Neighbors have to park several blocks from home, then battle tours and tour buses to get to their front door.
Police have been called to the street because of parking issues, where cars end up stopping on front lawns and blocking others in.
They don’t want to be the grinch who stole Christmas joy, but they will be relieved when the lights are taken down.
