Fairfield Police Investigating Brutal Baseball Bat Attack

Fairfield Police arrested three women for allegedly beating another woman with baseball bats at Allan Witt Park this past Monday.

The suspects were also basketball players from Solano Community College.

Following the arrests, the college president told FOX40 they expelled the students.

The victim, Dalana Bluford, suffered a fractured face. Her right eye remains swollen and closed.

She said they are all aquatinted, but she drove a friend to meet with two of the suspects who are sisters, to talkĀ out differences.

When Bluford got there, the suspects instead zeroed in on her, assaulting her for 10 minutes, she said.

The trio were booked for assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and vandalism.
