SACRAMENTO-

Three men arrested for assault, all  motorcycle riders, after a brawl broke out at the Easy Rider show in the Sacramento Convention Center.

"It was involving two rival motorcycle gangs," said Lt. Norm Leong of the Sacramento Police Department. "One group came into the event and the other one attacked."

Sacramento Police confirm an officer used pepper spray to break up the brawl, but somewhere in the chaos, a loaded gun fell to the ground.

"I remember specifically seeing cops come running up with mace," said Tim Melody of Old School Eyewear. "I'm going 'oh I'm not getting anywhere near there. There's already glass, there are already bottles broken.'"

Melody says he has been selling sunglasses at the convention for seven years, and has never seen anything like what happened during the even't opening day on Saturday.

"I tried to breakup a couple dogs when I was a kid and I can still show you the marks, my finger was almost torn off!" said Meoldy. "When you have people fighting and there's alcohol involved, you stay the hell out of the way."

Not to say Melody feels unsafe at biker conventions like this one. He sells his wares at shows and conventions all over the region, and has no plans to stop.
