A woman and her lost wedding ring are reunited after her plea on Facebook went viral.
Alycea Chandler said she lost it celebrating her coach's birthday at Club One15 in Oklahoma City.
"This ring is priceless and irreplaceable. It's custom made and the diamond was from hubby's father, who passed on when he was 10yo (sic)," Chandler wrote. "In losing the ring, I've lost a piece of his father."
Her post was shared more than 2,500 times - even reportedly in the UK - and wound up on the news feed of one of the club's general manager.
“We followed procedure, took it, put it in the safe,” Adam Coury told KFOR. “That was about the last thing I had heard about it until today actually.”
Chandler and her ring were reunited Monday.
“I have something to pass on to my son someday, from his grandfather that he never got to meet,” said Chandler. “That means the world to us.”
