WEST SACRAMENTO --

Baseball fans have more of a reason to get to the ballpark this weekend.

San Francisco Giants superstar, Hunter Pence, is getting back into big league shape by playing for the River Cats.  And fans are racing to get tickets.

"We are excited to see him play, and we are excited to see him back with the Giants," explained Jordan Cook from Rocklin.

Pence will play at least through Monday with the River Cats as he recovers from a broken forearm suffered during Spring Training.

He was 0-2 officially in Friday evening's game with a sacrifice fly and an RBI.  But the fans are coming out for the player, not necessarily the results.

"He's always got a positive attitude," said Will Drips.  "No matter what he hustles to first base, even when he knows he'll be out. He plays all out all the time and I think that is something you don't see too often and I think it's special.
