Forest Service Crews Clear Brush Ahead of Busy Fire Season

U.S. Forest Service crews were hard at work Wednesday clearing dry grass and timber from along Highway 50 near Kyburz and Strawberry.

This is done to deprive potential wildfires of fuel.

Work will be done throughout the summer to remove the dry vegetation.
