Peterson Fire in Lake County Grows to 400 Acres

LAKE COUNTY —

The Peterson Fire in Lake County has grown to 400 acres in the two hours that it has been burning.

The fire started today at 5:30 p.m. as a 75-acre vegetation fire off of Peterson Lane and Adobe Creek Road, near Kelseyville. Cal Fire reports that the fire is growing with a dangerous rate of spread spotting.

Air and ground resources are on scene fighting to contain the blaze, and additional resources are said to be en route.
