ROCKLIN–
Hackerlab and and Sierra College are pushing a six-week bootcamp for startups.
The free program is geared toward helping people who have an “idea sketched on a napkin” for a business. The goal is to help bring those ideas to fruition.
The “Startup Hustle Incubator” begins Oct. 1. It’s an intensive series of sessions with speakers, coaching and curriculum. Mandatory meetings are held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hackerlab in Rocklin or in midtown Sacramento.
It’s formatted as a competition, with the top prize being a package made to help a fledgling business – including legal, financial, accounting and marketing services.
Applications are due Sept. 24.
