SACRAMENTO --

Lyft and the Sacramento International Airport have come to an agreement that will allow the ride-sharing company to operate at the airport.

The agreement went into effect on Monday and applies to all Lyft drivers, the airport said in a release.

Passengers can meet Lyft cars where hotel shuttles and cabs pick up passengers at the west end of Terminal A and the south end of Terminal B.

“People in Sacramento have embraced Lyft as an affordable, convenient way to get around their city, and we're excited to begin permitted operations at Sacramento International Airport,” said Bakari Brock, senior director of airport and venue development for Lyft.
