SACRAMENTO--

Two men and one woman were arrested Wednesday after a chase with what investigators say was a stolen truck.

The pursuit began just after 2 a.m. near 30th and C Streets when officers were investigating recent burglaries in the area. Officers ran the license plates of a truck, which had apparently been reported stolen.

Police say the chase reached speeds of about 90 miles per hour.

The truck disappeared down a dark road, police said, until a homeowner called to say a truck had been ditched in their yard.

The three suspects were caught in Freeport, nearly four hours after the chase started, near Highway 160 and Interstate 5. Two were trying to hide in the grass, police said, and the other was hiding in a tree.
