SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The chief executive of a sightseeing tour company has issued a statement following the crash of a double-decker bus that injured nearly two dozen people.
Christian Watts said in an email that everyone at City Sightseeing San Francisco is “deeply saddened” by the crash that occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Friday at Union Square.
He said that they are cooperating with authorities to determine how this happened, and that he prays for a speedy recovery for the injured.
Four adults remain in critical condition Saturday with another two adults in serious condition. San Francisco General Hospital spokesman Brent Andrew said they suffer from fractures and head injuries.
Andrew declined to comment on a minor also admitted to the hospital on Friday.
