FOLSOM --

Folsom football has been king in this area for some time. The Bulldogs find themselves in yet another championship game Friday night.

Folsom High football has been the pride of the Sac Joaquin section for the last five years and counting. The Bulldogs won a state title back in 2010 and then another one just last season. On Friday night, they will host the Norcal Regional Championship game at Folsom High School.

It's hard to recall the last time Folsom lost a football game. It was in December 2013 to iconic De La Salle. In fact, the Spartans are the only team to beat Folsom since the 2012 season, having done it twice.

In that four-year span, Bulldog football has gone an incredible 58-2, including 30 straight wins and counting.

Come Friday night, it's the next chance for Folsom to prove its dominance in the Norcal title game against Bellarmine out of San Jose.

The game starts Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the winner will advance to the Title Game the following weekend.
