YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK —

After two days of extensive cleanup, El Portal Road, a continuation of Highway 140, in Yosemite National Park will re-open at 6 p.m., Saturday to all vehicle traffic, according to the National Park Service.

The popular road into the park was closed Jan. 7 after a rock slide blocked access to Yosemite Valley through this route. The NPS urges visitors to drive with caution because crews and equipment may still be at the site of the cleanup.

Rocks and other debris may be present hazardous situations.
