SACRAMENTO —

Food Management Partners has announced the closure of 74 restaurants nationwide.

Four of those locations are Sacramento area Hometown Buffets, which all permanently shut down Thursday.

The company says those locations were among the most under-performing nationwide.

Both Sacramento locations — on Florin Road and Watt Avenue — and the Elk Grove and Vacaville restaurants are now closed.

The Citrus Heights, Tracy, Yuba City, Fairfield, Stockton, Turlock and Modesto location will all remain open.
