Two NYPD Officers Shot in the Bronx

NEW YORK —

Two New York Police Department officers were shot in the Bronx on Thursday night, the department said on Twitter

Neither officers’ wounds were life-threatening, the NYPD said.

One officer suffered a head wound, a spokesman told CNN.

Police are searching for at least one suspect.

Mayor Bill de Blasio was holding his State of the City address. According to his spokeswoman, Karen Hinton, the mayor was going to Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx after the speech.
