Driver Arrested for DUI Following Fatal Vehicle Collision in Yuba County

One person was arrested Saturday night following a solo vehicle collision that left one person dead, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on State Highway 49, just north of Moonshine Road in Yuba County. According to CHP, the driver of a pickup truck went off of the roadway and crashed. The deceased victim was a passenger in the truck at the time of the accident.

The driver was arrested for felony DUI, and is expected to face 2nd degree murder charges, officials said.
