Gary Gelfand is at West Lane Bowl with 85-year-old bowler William Lautenschlager of Stockton. This record-breaker landed in the U.S. Bowling Congress record books as the oldest bowler to roll a USBC-certified 800 series. Lautenschlager bowls three days a week at  West Lane and knows a lot about the game. He set his record in January when he bowled a 226, 279 and a 300 for and 805 set.

"The United States Bowling Congress serves as the national governing body of bowling as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). USBC conducts championship events nationwide including the largest participation sporting events in the world - the USBC Open and Women's Championships - and professional events such as the USBC Masters and USBC Queens."
