SACRAMENTO — The Los Rios Police Department is currently investigating a sexual battery case reported Tuesday evening at Cosumnes River College.

Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, an adult woman was walking south on East Campus Drive when an unidentified suspect followed to her car parked on the campus perimeter near Calvine Road.

The man approached the victim and grabbed her buttocks with his right hand.

When she turned around he said, “My watch is broken, do you know the time?” The victim immediately left the scene.

The suspect is described as a black adult male in his 20s or 30s with shoulder-length corn row styled hair. His body type is described as slender and his height is around 6 feet tall.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark blue jeans and white shoes.

A spokesperson with Cosumnes River College said Wednesday afternoon that they have a person of interest in custody.

On April 1, two other female students reported similar incidents to authorities.
