TURLOCK — Firefighters made an adorable rescue on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a report of kittens that were trapped in the attic of an apartment complex on W. Hawkeye Avenue on Sunday afternoon. After searching all areas of the attic and roof, the firefighters found four kittens on the sun-baked roof.

The kittens, which are about six weeks old, were reunited with their mother and their owner. They’re expected to be OK.
