The 11th annual California Capital Airshow (CCA) announced today the launch of tickets for all airshow fans, and Paul and Mae are in the studio chatting with Darcy Brewer about the event.

Every year the CCA gets bigger and better. This year, on the first weekend in October, US Navy Blue Angels will take flight once again.

The buzz around the airshow this year comes from a new opportunity: in addition to watching the show, volunteers can get involved and participate. The CCA is looking for ambassadors and volunteers. Over 1,000 volunteers help out each year, and this year the show is expecting a much larger crowd than in the past.

Do you want to be a volunteer?

  • Must participate in both days of the convention, for 8-10 hours each day. It's a big commitment.
  • Meet friends, make memories, and get up close and personal with the planes and pilots.
  • Check out the job descriptions on the CCA's website, and attend the orientation and rally on Wednesday July 27th at Rancho Cordova City Hall.

Buy tickets early for a discount and to ensure your spot, because they are expected to sell out this year.
