Family, Friends Hold Candle Light Vigil for Man Killed in Sacramento Goodwill Accident

SACRAMENTO -- Family, friends and coworkers shed tears of sorrow for 26-year-old Abraham Garza who was killed Friday while at work at a south Sacramento Goodwill.

The California Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Garza was checking if one of the blue bins in the loading dock was aligned with a compactor when the accident occurred. He suffered major head trauma, later dying from the wounds.

Garza leaves behind a 7-year-old son. Relatives described him as a good dad, brother and a kind soul who loved helping others, especially working for Goodwill.
