Police: Man Fires Gun During Dollar Tree Robbery

PLACERVILLE — Police in Placerville say a man fired a gun inside the Dollar Tree store during a robbery Sunday evening.

Investigators say two men held up the location on Broadway around 8:30 p.m. Both were armed, investigators said, but only one fired a shot. They ran off with cash from the register.

No one was injured.

One suspect was described as white, about 5-feet-3-inches tall with a reddish-brown mustache and goatee. The other man was also described as white, about 5-feet-8-inches tall and a bandanna covering his face.

Both men wore all black clothing.
