SACRAMENTO -- Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne donated proceeds from a Wednesday night concert in Sacramento to the Yes on Prop 62 campaign.
It was the last in a series of California concerts given by Browne to raise money and awareness for the proposition.
Prop 62 would end the death penalty in California, replacing it with life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Supporters of the proposition call the death penalty a costly, failed system.
Opponents say Prop 62 would let the worst murderers off easy and diminish victims' rights.
