WASHINGTON -- Paul Robins and Simone De Alba sat down with former U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman to discuss No Labels.

Lieberman is the national co-chair of the bipartisan group focused on finding a moderate, united foundation in the current political climate.

Leaders from across the nation came together Monday in Washington, D.C. for No Labels' 1787: Constructing the Peace After the War meeting. The conference provided a forum for discussions surrounding the 2016 presidential election.

Around 200 members of Congress, mayors, governors, and local and national political leaders gathered to formulate their specific goals regarding jobs, Social Security, the federal budget and energy security, and deliberate on ways those goals can be integrated into the new presidential term.
