Auburn Police Arrest Teenager Suspected of Kidnapping, Choking a Woman

AUBURN — Police arrested an 18-year-old Friday suspected of kidnapping a woman and choking her in a car in Auburn.

According to Lt. Michael Garlock of the Auburn Police Department, Shane Bradley was arrested on suspicion of driving the woman against her will to a remote area, where he then began choking her.

Police were tipped off to the incident after they received several reports of a woman screaming around Placerado Avenue. Officers successfully located the woman; her condition has not been reported.

Bradley has been charged without bail at the Placer County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, kidnapping, criminal threats and domestic violence.
