Magnitude 3.8 Earthquake Rattles Bay Area

A magnitude 3.8 earthquake hit the San Francisco Bay Area Saturday at 6:29 p.m., rattling nearby cities.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the epicenter of the quake was situated just 8 miles southwest of Brentwood and 34 miles east of San Francisco.

No damages have been reported as a result of the earthquake.
