Deputy Arrests Oroville Student who Threatened to Kill Teacher

OROVILLE — A 16-year-old Oroville student was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of threatening to kill a teacher.

Butte County Sheriff’s Deputy Jesse Nicholaw found the Prospect High School student at a family member’s home in Oroville and arrested him. He was booked into juvenile hall.

The sheriff’s office will not be identifying the juvenile.
