    MARYSVILLE — Marysville police arrested a 22-year-old after it was found that she had stolen thousands of dollars from her grandmother. On Dec. 1, a 74-year-old woman notified the Marysville Police Department that someone had been making unauthorized withdrawals from her bank account at a Chase Bank ATM in town. Using surveillance footage from the bank, officials identified the suspect as the victim’s granddaughter, 22-year-old Taylor Suzanne Johnson.   • Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs Marries Stanford Schoolmate

    STOCKTON — Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs married Anna Malaika Grace Ntiriwah Asare¬†Tuesday at Progressive Community Church in Stockton. The weddings section of the New York Times noted the two met at Stanford. Ntiriwah-Asare-Tubbs is a doctoral student and Gates Scholar at Cambridge University. The 25-year-old is also a writer for a women’s publication, according to the New York Times. On Friday, the couple had an additional ceremony in Cartagena, Colombia with friends and family.

    STOCKTON — A bomb squad unit was sent to the scene of a traffic stop Saturday after police found two grenades in a car in Stockton.
