I’m a reporter for FOX40 here in Sacramento, but I’m no stranger to the valley – born in Modesto, raised in Gustine and I have a huge extended Portuguese family.
I’m back in Northern California after stops covering wildfires and marijuana busts in Redding and a stint in Norfolk, VA chasing hurricanes and Michael Vick’s legal troubles.
I’m a Jane-of-all-trades here at FOX40 – I’ve covered everything from Occupy Oakland protestors shutting down the Port of Oakland to grasshopper invasions in Waterford. Most recently, I’ve been spending time chasing down the remains left behind by the Speed Freak Killers, Loren Herzog and Wesley Shermantine.

Researching, writing and creatively telling stories that are important to the community – it’s a position of real privilege. I get to find out what you want to know more about …while you’re at work.
Why FOX40?
I’m close to my family and FOX40 affords me the opportunity to pursue my passion (news) and still be around the people I love.

If I had free time, I would…
