Bio

I’m the Chief Meteorologist here at FOX40 and have been for the past 7 years.   I’m a local girl and have always called Northern California home.  I grew up in Vacaville and went to college at both American River and Sacramento State.  I later went on to complete the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University.

I’m known in the newsroom for…

My sarcasm and probably for being a little opinionated…or a lot.

What keeps me going

My little girl. Being a mom has definitely made me a better person.  I also must exercise, without it I am a total mess.

I give back to my community by…

I just want to make sure storms and heat waves don’t sneak up on people…it’s my job to inform, so you can all prepare.

Why FOX40?

Northern California has always been my home. I love it here and I know the area and the weather patterns.  I also love our station, because they let me be me…opinions and all.

My greatest TV moment

Covering the Seattle earthquake; long days, but I learned so much.  I also loved covering the Kings when times were good.

TV moment I’d like to forget

The time a bug flew in my mouth during a live shot and I had to spit it out on air and keep going…not pretty, but I finished that live shot.

If I had more free time…

I would probably travel more with my family.
