The California Highway Patrol issued a statewide AMBER Alert out of Long Beach Monday.

Nicholas Johnson, 12, was reportedly abducted by 49-year-old Sri Johnson last Thursday.

Nicholas is described as white, 4 feet 8 inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Sri Johnson is also described as white, and stands at 5 feet 1 inch tall.

Officials describe the suspect vehicle as a tan, 1998 Saturn 4-door sedan with California plates 4AUU679.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department announced Thursday morning that Douglas Reeves, who had been missing since Oct. 4, is back home safe.

Reeves’ family said he left for either the Plumas National Forest or the Tahoe National Forest to go camping, and would return Oct. 10.

The Sheriff’s Department released a missing person alert Wednesday, nearly a week after Reeves said he’d be home.

Police in Citrus Heights are asking for help in finding a 67-year-old man who went missing Sunday afternoon.

James Taylor was last seen at his Sylvan Road home around 1:30 p.m.

He was wearing a red short sleeved polo shirt and khaki shorts at the time of his disappearance.

Police note that Taylor is non-verbal due to a mental disorder.

Anyone who has seen or know where Taylor may be is asked to call Citrus Heights Police at (916) 727-5500.

Sacramento Police say a young woman and her son went missing Thursday afternoon, but were found roughly 24 hours later.

Fariha Kanwal, 23, and her 18-month-old son left their V Street home for South Side Park when they disappeared.

Kanwal and her son, Zakir Zamurad, were found safe Friday afternoon.

DAVIS –balbino mercadal

The Davis teenager reported to be missing on Friday has been found.

Balbino Mercadal, 19, was found late Saturday morning and is unharmed.

Mercadal had last been seen along Glacier Drive in Davis. He had told friends that he was going to the Bay Area.

Sacramento Police are asking for help in finding a 27-year-old man they consider to be at-risk.

Reggie Hodge was last seen Thursday as we walked away from his home near 11th Avenue and 40th Street.

Police consider Hodge to be at-risk due to his developmental disabilities. Hodge needs medications or else he could become easily confused, family and police note.

Hodge was wearing a black South Pole sweatshirt and grey jeans with grey shoes when he went missing.

Davis Police say a teen headed to the Bay Area never arrived, and is considered to be at risk.

Balbino Mercadal, 19, was last seen along Glacier Drive in Davis. He told his friends he was going to the Bay Area.

Mercadal reportedly never got there, and that type of behavior is considered “out of character” for him.

He was last seen wearing a light blue beanie, blue jeans and a black backpack with a green and white pattern on it. He’s descibed as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, 135 pounds and brown hair and brown eyes.

Sacramento Police are asking for help in finding a 16-year-old boy who has been missing since Wednesday.

Chase Felgenhauer left his Hawkcrest Drive home that morning riding a red and silver mountain bike. He never showed up to school and has reportedly not been seen since.

He was wearing a black and red hat with the word “Wolf” on it.

Felgenhauer’s family reportedly is worried about his welfare.

Anyone with information about where the boy may be is asked to Sacramento Police at (916) 264-5471.

Residents of Nevada, El Dorado, Placer and Sacramento counties are asked to be on the lookout for a woman who was last seen on July 7.

Wilma Barnhart, 74, was last seen driving away from her home in Grass Valley. No one knows where she was trying to go.

Authorities are worried for Barnhart’s welfare because she has to take medications for heart and thyroid issues.

The car Barnhart was driving is a brown 1999 GMC Envoy, with California plate number 4DMJ032.
