Detectives are continuing their search for Susan Jacobson, who went missing back on May 1.

Anyone who visited the Raley’s shopping center, near Woodcreek Oaks and Pleasant Grove boulevards, between 4 a.m. and noon on May 1 is asked to call detectives.

No detail is too small, detectives note. Detectives say they are trying to complete the picture of activity the morning Jacobson went missing.

Jacobson was said to have told her husband that she needed to go grocery shopping and run errands. Her car was found abandoned, with her wallet inside in the store parking lot.

The search of Susan Jacobson, a woman missing out of Roseville, focused on Sun City Sunday.

Nearly 200 people made up the search party, which was partly comprised of Roseville Police, Placer County Sheriff’s deputies, and a group of R.C. Willey employees.

Roseville Police spokesperson Dee Dee Gunther said in a statement that several items were found during the day’s search, but they will have to be examined more closely to determine whether or not they have anything to do with Jacobson or her disappearance.

Roseville Police are looking for the identity of the Good Samaritan that found Susan Jacobson’s wallet.

Jacobson, 59, is a resident of Sun City Roseville and has been missing since May 1.

She reportedly left to run errands on the morning of May 1, but never returned. She was reported missing later that day.

Police believe the woman pictured in this surveillance video found Jacobson’s wallet in the parking lot and returned it to a nearby Starbucks.

Police would like to speak with her to find out if she might have any more information on the disappearance of Jacobson.

Woman Missing for Days, Car Found at Grocery Store


A woman who said she was going to go grocery shopping never came home, and has now been missing for two days.

Susan Jacobson was last seen by her husband Wednesday morning, she was going to get groceries and run other errands.

Wednesday night, Roseville Police officers found Jacobson’s car parked at Raley’s. They do not know how long it had been parked there.

The 59-year-old does not normally spend much time away from her home, and it’s unusual for her to disappear without telling anyone. She stands about 4’11’’ and weighs around 90 pounds.

Anyone who saw Jacobson in the last couple of days is being asked to call police at (916) 774-5070.
