The FBI is doing a site survey in Linden related to the Speed Freak Killers.
No digging has been done yet, FBI spokesperson Gina Swankie told FOX40. Several questions are said to be needing answers before digging can commence.
Wesley Shermantine was taken away from death row for a time at back in August to help locate more victims near his family’s property in Linden.
That search failed to find much, with Shermantine later sending a letter to bounty hunter Leonard Padilla that noted, “They missed the actual boneyard, the one that has most of the bodies in it. I would say there are 12 bodies in that well.”
Earlier in September, Shermantine was said to have met with assembly member Cathleen Galgiani. The two talked about another location where bodies could possibly be found.
