Two Men Shot, One Dies at Hospital

Police are investigating a shooting in South Sacramento.

The incident happened Wednesday around 8 p.m. on 65th Street.

When officers got to the scene they could not find any victims or suspects.

Two men later arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds.

One of the men died from his injuries.

Police are now looking to the public for help.

“You might not think it’s significant, but please call in and let us know what you saw,” said Doug Morse, Sacramento Police Dept.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this case to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
