Sacramento Police were called to Sully Street and Sextant Way after neighbors said someone had been found shot multiple times Tuesday evening.

Sacramento police believe the man was shot at a different location then dumped in the North Sacramento neighborhood.

“That is what it kind of appears to be but we don’t know because none of the people who called in saw a vehicle. We are trying to figure out what happened.” said Lt. Tom Sweeney with Sacramento Police Dept.

The entire block along Sextant remained blocked off while investigators tried to find more witnesses.

When police arrived they said the victim was talking, but gave them no specifics about the case.

He was taken to UC Davis Medical Center, where he died.
