Two storms are making their way to Northern California this weekend; one will be weaker and one could pack a real punch.
Friday’s storm should be pretty weak, and warmer. There could be steady rain Friday for mostly everyone, and snow in only the very high elevations near the summit.
The second storm will move in Saturday, it will bring much heavier rain and winds in the Valley.
Heavy snow in lower elevations in the Sierra.
The second storm will last through Sunday, showers could continue for most of the day.
By Monday, we could get anywhere from one to three inches of rain, and possibly several feet of snow in the Sierra.
