Cilantro and Cake Batter. Those aren’t the first two flavors that probably come to mind when you think of vodka, but they’re two of the nine Lee Palleschi, the founder of Cold House Vodka, has created.

Palleschi started making vodka as a hobby about three years ago and would make about 100 bottles every three weeks. He had an initial uphill climb with his business but he quickly found he had to increase productivity to keep up with demand.

He now sells his vodka in about 200 Save Marts, three Costcos and about 350 bars throughout California. This year alone, he says his company will produce around 20,000 bottles of Vodka.
He attributes much of his success to the flavor of his alcohol. He says, “When people have my peach vodka they say they feel like chewing on it because it takes exactly like a peach.” He says all the drinks taste just like what they bottles say they are.
