20 acts of kindness; one for each young child killed in Newtown, Connecticut. It’s a challenge that many people are accepting and are fulfilling – and FOX40 wants to know what you are doing.
The movement gained momentum when journalist Ann Curry tweeted Sunday:
Imagine if all of us committed to 20 mitvahs/acts of kindness to honor each child lost in Newtown. I'm in. If you are RT #20Acts—
Ann Curry (@AnnCurry) December 16, 2012
Many people tweeted that they are taking part and embracing this as a way to do something for the victims, and to honor their memory.
It’s up to individuals if they wanted to do #20acts or #26acts, to remember the faculty and teachers killed in Friday’s school shooting.
FOX40 would like to challenge our viewers and fans to commit acts of kindness in memory of those killed in Newtown. Make sure to tweet @FOX40 and tag it with #20acts or #26acts, or email news@FOX40.com so we can mention them on our air.
