Driver Leads Officials on Chase, then Smashes Stolen Car into Electrical Box

A driver in a stolen car led officials on a short chase, then smashed into a another car and fled early Friday morning in South Sacramento.
The driver also hit and damaged an electrical box at Stockton Boulevard and Elsie Avenue around 4 a.m.
Officials have detained two men, but it’s unclear if they are involved in the accident.
The person in the hit car was on their way to work when the accident happened and is uninjured.
