Tweet Reignites Rumors of Kings Departure

A Tweet by the daughter of an NBA player’s agent has once-again reignited the ongoing debate on whether the Sacramento Kings are staying or going.

Daina Falk wrote, “So I hear that the Seattle Kings is officially a done deal! The Maloofs finally sold the ailing Sacramento team. #NBA.” The Tweet was sent out early Wednesday morning, but had been deleted by around 6 a.m.

Falk is the daughter of David B. Falk, a sports agent who has represented the likes of Michael Jordan and Mike Bibby.

Virginia Beach announced Tuesday they were out of the running for trying to bring an NBA team — largely rumored to be the Kings.
