Thursday’s slight downpour left puddles and made for some rough road conditions, but nothing drivers couldn’t handle.
“Everyone was slowing down you could tell everyone was cautions. It wasn’t slick or anything,” said Matt Diedrich.
After a dry January drivers are not loving the recent rain, but few would deny it is great for our water supply.
“I appreciate the rain because if we don’t get it now we will pay for it in the summer,” driver Tony Dabiri said.
Even though December saw heavy rain, the National Weather Service says it is not uncommon to see dry spells.
