Investigators Give Update on Slain Suisun City Teen

Fairfield Police Department Chief Walter Tibbet addresses reporters Wednesday.


Fairfield and Suisun City investigators gave held a press conference Wednesday afternoon to give an update on the death of 13-year-old Genelle Conway-Allen.

Conway-Allen disappeared after school Thursday from Suisun City and was found the following morning dead in Fairfield’s Allen Witt park. She was found unclothed.

Investigators say Conway-Allen was murdered.

Fairfield Chief of Police Walter Tibbet spoke briefly at the beginning of the conference. He said that investigators are not looking for a silver mini van, as previously reported by the media.

Police also say that the FBI and Department of Justice are involved in the investigation.
