CITRUS HEIGHTS—

Authorities served an inspection warrant on a house that neighbors say has a problem with hoarding.

The owner of the home doesn’t live at the place, but neighbors have been fighting for years to have the building cleaned up.

Officials condemned the house back in 2001, but problems have persisted.

A clowder of around 30 to 50 cats is said to be inside the home, neighbors say. No cats were taken away Tuesday afternoon, but about 30 were pulled out last time.
