Police in Roseville say a group of people were kicked out of a bar for fighting early Friday morning, but cooler heads did not prevail outside and two people were left stabbed.
Officers were sent to the intersection of Lincoln Street and Main Street at about 1:17 a.m. Friday morning for reports of a fight with two people stabbed. A group of people had apparently been booted from a bar in the area for fighting.
The fight started back up again outside, according to police.
Two people were stabbed in the brawl. Police say they had nothing to do with the original fight but may have tried to break it up.
Witnesses described to officers four men that were involved in the fight leave in a white Lincoln sedan.
Police stopped that car near Washington Boulevard and Pleasant Grove Boulevard and took the four men into custody without incident.
Edward Garcia, the man suspected of the stabbing, and his alleged accomplice, Ruben Garza, were booked into Placer County Jail on attempted murder and gang charges.
The two other men, Jesus Castaneda and Peter Montanez, were booked for misdemeanor battery and fighting in public.
