Police: Women Had Children Help “Conceal” Stolen Items

Police in Yuba City say two women used their children help shoplift about $1,700 in goods from Walmart.

Teodora Dudley, 26, and 27-year-old Kandis Irby were booked into the Sutter County Jail Sunday for burglary, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor charges. They were released Monday.

Investigators say the two women had three children with them, ages 3, 6 and 7. They are accused of hiding DVDs in diaper bags.

According to police, the two women were found with clothes, fishing tackle and electronics. More than 340 items were stolen, investigators say.
