Bank Robber May have Hit Twice

Police say this man robbed a Bank of the West on March 1


Police are looking for a bank robber who may be linked to two incidents on the same day.

On March 1, the man walked into the Bank of the West off Arden Way and I-80 and demanded money from the teller. He took the money and left on a bike.

He stands about 5’5’’ tall, and has blond hair, blue eyes and a red goatee. He has tattoos on his arms and back of the neck.

A similar robbery happened earlier in the day, and investigators think the same man may be connected to both.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
