Soccer Club Holds Fundraiser for Girl, 10, Battling Brain Cancer

When you see 10-year-old Victoria Cartwright, affectionately called Tori, you see a healthy, normal, 10-year-old child.

But that all changed in the blink of an eye.

In January, Tori was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since then, life hasn’t been the same.

tori-hospitalWithin three months, Tori lost her vision. She is going through radiation and chemotherapy in Seattle with her mother by her side. Her father stayed behind in Citrus Heights to work.

A soccer club is holding a fundraiser for her to help offset the costs. Donations can be deposited into Wells Fargo account #5769268045.
