Bomb Threat Evacuates Yuba County Walmart

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department called off their search for a possible bomb Tuesday evening after the Walmart on North Beale Road was evacuated.

Deputies say a bomb threat was called into the store Tuesday afternoon at about 4:30 p.m. Walmart employees evacuated the store so deputies and bomb sniffing dogs from the nearby Beale Air Force Base to search for the possible device.

At about 7:45 p.m., deputies called off the search. Walmart management kept the store closed for another hour before reopening.
