This person Steven Blaksley does not work for Marysville Raceway Park and is not the announcer either and should not claim he does.

Time to ban racing!!! Seriously, condolences to those families and friends effected by this tragedy.

first off Yes Steven is not "working" as a selected individual.. He is contracted by drivers and the raceway to do their PR. Steven dose PR for lots of different people in the racing community. Open you're mouth when you know the facts. Second off Ban Racing!?!?!?!?!!!!! Bet you did not know the young kid or his family or the older gentleman. Bet you had no idea the Kid is actually a driver as well. It's not for you to decide what is banned and it is certainly not up for debate when someone you do not know dies tragically. WE AS CITIZENS OF THE USA HAVE THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE AND WE WILL NOT LET SOME TROLL DECIDE THAT FATE.

Fatalities at this park are rare and there are a lot of rules for racing that are geared toward safety. The notion of banning racing is just plain dumb. Life happens. Condolences to the victims of this tragedy and the families affected. I have been enjoying motorsports my whole life. I
Have been going to the Marysville Speedway for 30 years. Racing is a sport, and a way of life.
